Fiona graduated from the University of York with first class honours in Writing, Directing and Performance. It was whilst studying that her passion for directing grew. Since graduating she has directed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Sod’s Law Theatre’s The Lost Girls. She worked for several months as an intern for The Finborough Theatre, before going on to direct In Motion at Theatre503 for Full Circle Productions. For the 2017 VAULT Festival she directed Madame Bovary’s Communist Afterparty, which is to go into production again as part of the Camden Fringe Festival in summer 2017. With the Minerva collective she has directed both productions of Waking Beauty and is excited to take the company’s new show, Sacrament, into production later this year.

Her work as an assistant director has seen her collaborate with York Shakespeare Project on their production of Twelfth Night and with Company of Angels on Heading to Higher Ground, where she assisted Sophie Lifschutz, as part of their Theatre Cafe festival.
